As soon as the wind starts to cool and the leaves are turning from dark green to yellow to that wonderfull copper, I start to feel happy. I love autumn. The smell of rain washing away the dust, being ambushed by a bunch of dry leaves caught in a gust of wind.
Mushrooms are those magical little things that pop-up in autumn. I'm not sure why I like them so much, but maybe because I can imagine them being homes to other magical, unseen creatures.
Pastel on heavy 360 gr/m² Pastelmat paper
24cm x 18cm (9.45" x 7.1")
This drawing is not treated with a fixative. Thought the special paper ensures that the pastel is fixed well, it is still possible that the colours can transfer or smudge when handled without care.
Colours may vary from monitor to monitor due to individual settings and limitations in digital photography – I made every effort to come as close to actual colours in the original piece as possible.
